Earlier this week I blogged on struggling to find motivation. Luckily, today is a new day. I did eat on points and followed the healthy guidelines. I was very pleasantly surprised when I weighed in this morning and found out I had lost 5.4 pounds this week. I know that part of it is water loss, but still I was very happy. Does that give me more motivation to follow Weight Watchers — you bet it does! I am aware though that this week was not normal, but still a great way to start!!
I have given motivation a lot of thought this week, and have tried to think of what does give me motivation. One, success — it is always easier to find motivation when you experience success of any kind. Two, friends — knowing that I am meeting two friends each week to weigh in and attend the meeting definitely make me more motivated to not only do well, but actually attend the meetings. I am also blessed in that I have some friends at work who are doing WW, so I feel support from them at work as well. Three, a goal in mind — I know how much weight I would like to loose, so that gives me something to work towards. I also have the goal of running my first marathon later this year ( a marathon before 30 — not bad.
).
So today starts a new day and a new week (points wise) or me. My plan is to run today on the treadmill. I have a goal this week to make sure I get in 4 workout days — whether it be jogging, walking, zumba, or an on-demand video. Wish me luck.
Happy Saturday!!

I think everyone has a hard time finding motivation – especially me! I have been struggling for the past three weeks to stay committed to WW and staying within my points b/c it takes work (shockingly enough!) and its easier to not care or pay attention. This post has encouraged me to try to stay on target – glad to know I am not the only one who struggles! Thanks for the….MOTIVATION!
You can do it Jess.
