Last Friday, Jason and I met my friend Tracy and her boyfriend Randy for First Friday in downtown Knoxville. We met for dinner at Downtown Grill and Brewery for dinner where we had a fabulous dinner with great conversation. I ordered the Mango Swordfish– which was absolutely delicious, and I would highly recommend it!
After dinner, we decided to walk around and see what all was going on for First Friday. We never did actually make in to see any art exhibits, but did see a drum circle and fire throwers. I am so impressed by fire throwers and could watch them for hours. The guys we saw were moving the fire to the beat of the drums — fabulous!!
After listening to the drum circle and watching the fire throwers, we went for a walk and found ourselves in Coolato Gelato. I cannot believe that I have never been in here before. I LOVE gelato, so maybe it was good I didn’t know about it before as I want to go there all the time now.
