Happy March! I am happy to report that March has started well in regards to my workouts. I got some fabulous workouts in this week!
Continuous effort — not strength or intelligence — is the key to unlocking our potential.
– Liane Cardes
Monday – off
Tuesday — Steady State Cardio – 41 minutes. This was an On Demand kickboxing video with Jill Coleman. My upper back was so sore the next day from all the punches. Great video.
Wednesday – off
Thursday – I was all about the On Demand videos on Thursday doing 3. I did Upper Combo with Cathy Syphers for 16 minutes that was all upper body with weights. My second video was Leg Builder with Robert Jones for 8 minutes that was all legs with weights. My third video for the day was Pilates for Posture with Michelle Rogers for 19 minutes. After the three videos, I really felt I had gotten a great full body workout.
Friday – Pilates Pump with Tonya Nettles for 31 minutes. This workout was quite interesting as we were experiencing bad weather, so every 10 minutes or so the TV would go black with the weather report, so my 31 minute video took over 40 minutes. Oh well, at least a workout occurred.
Saturday — Back to spin class — it had been awhile since AM and I had done a spin class together as we have started doing Body Attack on Tuesday and I was away last Saturday. I warmed up for 10 minutes with a 50 minute spin class. I love spin classes as I leave feeling well workout out. I was on a roll, so when I came home I did two short On Demand videos to work my arms and abs. I did the Gun Show with Roger Dickerman for 5 minutes and Core Begin with Cathy Syphers for 5 minutes.
Sunday — off
Bonus — This weekends Women’s Health challenge was 3 sets of 10 squats before each meal on both Saturday and Sunday. While I did not get my squats in all 3 times, I did do it twice on both Saturday and Sunday — 120 squats for the weekend — not bad!
How have your workouts been this week?
I’ve started exploring the On Demand workouts and love them! I quit the gym and now enjoy working out in my living room. I was looking for Michelle Rogers on Google when I discovered your site. I love how open you are with your readers.
