Plain rates
What it costs
Every rate below includes the planning, the resources and the marking. You are paying for a registered teacher's time, not for a room and a franchise fee.
Not registered for GST, so there is no GST added to any of these rates.
Included in every session
- A pre-assessment before the first teaching session
- A written plan targeting the gaps that assessment finds
- All planning, resources and marking, done personally by your teacher
- Thorough lesson notes emailed after every lesson, with optional homework
- Progress notes and work kept in one place across the term
Private 1:1 sessions
One student, one teacher, planned around that student's assessment.

Small group sessions
Three to four students, grouped by ability so everyone in the session is working on the same skills. Group sessions run for 30 minutes, and the rate is per student.

Packages
Blocks of sessions paid up front. The saving is measured against booking those same sessions one at a time.

Payment and cancellation
Payment
Sessions are billed on the last day of each month, for the sessions taken that month. There is nothing to pay up front. Direct debit can be set up if you would rather it came out automatically.
Cancellation
Forty eight hours notice is required to cancel a session. A reschedule is available depending on availability, and make up sessions can be taken during school holidays. A forgotten session is charged in full. Your teacher waits online for ten minutes before a session is treated as forgotten.
